Sometimes, the beauty of the Vall del Llèmena is not only found in its mountains or rivers, but also in the perspective of the people who live here. From April 17 to 19, we are lucky to see art blossom very close to our home, in Cartellà, less than ten minutes from the masía.

It’s called Llemenart, a collective exhibition that brings together the talent of the artists from our valley. For Eirene and me, events like this are what give meaning to our territory; it’s the culture shared among neighbors, the pride of showing what is born from local creativity.
If you’re planning to visit us that weekend, we recommend saving some time to stop by Cartellà. It’s a unique opportunity to wander among sculptures, paintings, and other forms of expression that draw directly from the landscape we love so much.
We always say that coming to Masía Can Pou is an experience of calm, but also of connection. And there is no better way to connect with the spirit of the Llèmena than through the eyes of its artists. See you there!
Are you someone who looks for authentic cultural plans when traveling in rural areas? We’d love to hear what you think about this initiative.
We are Donatello and Eirene, and since 2018 we have been taking care of Masía Can Pou so it can be the refuge where we ourselves would love to get lost.
